Why is an online vet good for cats specifically?
Because most cats find the carrier and the clinic genuinely stressful, and a stressed cat hides symptoms and is harder to assess. On a video call your cat stays in its own home, calm and behaving normally, so the vet sees the real picture. My cat suddenly stopped eating. Is that serious?
It can be. Cats should not go without eating for long, and a sudden loss of appetite, especially with hiding, weight loss, or vomiting, is worth checking promptly.
