What dog problems can a vet actually help with online?
A lot of everyday worries: digestive upsets, skin and coat issues you can show on camera, diet and nutrition, behaviour and anxiety, minor wounds, puppy care, and deciding whether a symptom is urgent. The vet assesses what they can see and hear, advises on home care, and tells you honestly if your dog needs a hands-on exam or tests.
When does my dog need a physical clinic instead?
Anything requiring a hands-on exam, vaccinations or deworming injections, blood tests, X-rays, or a procedure needs a clinic. And any emergency sign, such as difficulty breathing, collapse, a bloated hard belly, suspected poisoning, or severe bleeding, means you should go to your nearest emergency clinic straight away rather than wait for an online slot.
My dog ate something it shouldn't have. Can you help fast?
Yes, this is one of the most common reasons owners book. A vet can tell you whether what your dog ate is toxic, how urgent it is, and what to do right now. If it is a genuine poisoning risk, they will send you straight to a clinic. Do not wait for symptoms to appear with suspected toxins.
